Elven Weapons
Here we will see the swords of the elves used during the Third Age.
Lhang
The Lhang matches the elves perfectly. It's a big, fast sword with gold decorations. The curved, one-edged blade has lots of energy. It has a big handle that the Elf can hold with both his two hands. The sword is meant for sweeping motions diagonally across the body. It is used by both the Galadhrim and the High Elves.
Mirkwood Double-Bladed Polearm
The Woodland Guard are the soldiers of the Elvenking, sworn to protect and watch over the northern lands of the great forest of the Woodland Realm. Among their weapons is this polearm, crafted with a greenwood shaft and two curved Elven blades forged of bronzed steel with a steel edge of superior strength. It is spun continuously parallel to the elf's body, or used for stabbing.

Elven Lord Saber
These swords were used by high-ranking elves during the Second and Third Age. It has a shorter hilt than the normal weapons. At Rivendell, these weapons gradually replaced the Lhang of earlier times, which remained popular in Lindon and Lorien. This was likely because the Lord Saber was easier to use from horseback, a fighting style Imladris favored. Haldir, Arwen, and Elrond all used versions of this sword.Elven Lord Saber
Wood-Elven Saber
The Wood-Elves, less civil than their brethren, use a different kind of sword. It is mainly used from behind a large shield, with slashing and stabbing strokes. It is decorated with wood, cutouts, and carvings.
