Antique knife Dealers
About the Portland Knife Show:
Welcome to the semi-annual Portland Custom Knife Show. After a year in the planning, we were very encouraged by the first show in October. After talking with each exhibitor, almost every one said they felt this could evolve into a great show for the Portland market and planned to support it. Including RW Wilson, who came all the way from Weirton, WV. Because the show is held in the same hall as a very large Antique & Collectible Show, we don’t have separate attendance numbers, but the show drew 12, 000 people over the weekend, beginning with Early Admission on Friday. The antique dealers are very supportive, seeing the value in more and different customers. And we were interested to find that there were more vintage knives and swords in the show this last time.
So if you’re a knifemaker or dealer or are in the business of vintage knives and swords (a category we’d like to build on) and want to get your brand out there, consider a weekend with us. An 8’ table rents for $110 for the weekend and does include Friday early admission. And of course there is a discount for multiple tables. Just click the button for exhibitor information, print it out and send it back. Or email us at info@christinepalmer.net, or call us Monday through Friday from 9 to 4:30 at (503)282-0877 and we’ll get one in the mail to you. As an exhibitor, you’ll find that we’re easy to work with and impose as few rules as possible. We do restrict the content of the table to custom knife makers, pieces and parts and vintage knives and swords. We do have room for some suppliers. Grateful Edge is onsite for knife sharpening.
If you’re a knife collector, the Custom Knife Show offers some of the best knives in the country, made by knifemakers with experience and imagination. In addition, there are 850 booths of vintage items from the late 1800s to the 1970s, making it a great destination for both you and your significant other. And you never know what you might find.
We’re looking forward to building this into a first class show. Our company’s mission statement is simply to ‘bring buyer and seller together’, and we have very high expectations that this will be the case with the Portland Custom Knife Show. We’re willing to invest the expertise, money and time into creating a successful event.
